Scuola Anna Frank Parma

The first stone was laid in the presence of the town mayor Federico Pizzarotti; the deputy mayor and responsible for schools and education Nicoletta Paci; the councillor for public works Michele Alinovi; the school head Graziana Morini; technicians from Parma Infrastrutture, the engineer Fulvio Vignola and the surveyor Marco Ferrari; and representatives from the contractor ECL Consorzio Stabile.

The ceremony was attended by the pupils of Year Four, who prepared a drawing that was then inserted in a cylinder, together with the scroll, that the mayor Pizzarotti placed in the cast concrete used to start construction.

In their drawing – placed with the scroll in the cylinder buried by the mayor in the foundations of the new primary school – the Year Four pupils documented the way their school has changed, with sketches, a poem and many thoughts.
The pupils see their new school as being spacious and with a large garden.
